This has been a good month for CAPS: Arizona State University - our partner institution - ranked high in a few things that make a difference to our members (in the news section); we released a new report on Procurement Analytics (in the Knowledge Central section); and, our upcoming Supply Management Roundtable is quickly filling. If you're part of a leadership team at one of our member companies, please consider attending. Our events are fast-paced and value-driven (with some great networking, at a beautiful venue).
And if you're not at a member company, we still have a ton of opportunities for you. There are plenty of research and benchmarking reports you can access in our library or you may participate in surveys and get the resulting aggregated metrics as our thanks. A recent CAPS survey confirms that the vast majority (80%) of participating companies conduct supplier safety reviews. Of those companies, 45% have a designated Safety Organization (E&H), 20% indicated that procurement is responsible.
